Near & Intermediate Vision Correction

Near Vision Correction

As we enter our forties, our eyes gradually lose their focusing ability and we are forced to depend on reading glasses or bifocals.  This process is called "presbyopia" where the natural lens becomes stiff and inflexible, and our focusing muscles become weaker.

With breakthrough technology, we now have a safe, effective and consistent procedure to correct presbyopia.  This is performed by replacing the aging lens with a presbyopia correcting lens implant.  Most patients who receive this implant are cataract surgery patients.  However, patients without cataracts may be candidates for surgery as well.
